Block paving

Block paving offers a durable, versatile and stylish surface for drives, footpaths, parking areas and patios.

Many block designs are available in a range of color's and styles with products sourced exclusively from tobermore paving manufactures

You can have paving in different styles – with circles, octagons and feature paving giving you an individual touch to an otherwise bland area.

How We Don't it
this is an non permeable way of paving

Stage one:
Dig off area to a depth of 6 to 7  inches deep.

Stage two:
Lay edging curb's around boundary of driveway set in concrete.

Stage three:
Terra membrane on prepared surface.

Stage four:
Apply type one sub base material, compact firmly with vibrating roller or wackier plate. Apply sharp sand 50mm deep, compact with wacker plate, a further 15mm of sharp sand is then applied and then screeded over the prepared sand area to provide a flat sand surface. Blocks are then laid to your requirements and chosen design.

Final Stage:
Apply kiln dried joint filling sand over the entire area and vibrate the whole area again to force down the block paving to a tight fit. The excess sand is swept off the block paving and you then have a new driveway.
